When two people love each other, and they have created a new life, their relationship deepens. It becomes even more full of love, trust, affection, and commitment. These were all emotions I could see when I photographed Kristina and Ryan. Just look at their smiles! It was obvious from the moment I first met them that they were deeply in love, and looking to commemorate the journey of life that they had undertaken. Their child is on the way, and this maternity shoot was an incredible experience for all of us.

I believe that The Hampstead Hill Garden and Pergola is a magical location to shoot in. It is a stylish and elegant spot located in North London. Definitely helped to capture the emotions that were running so high through the day. This was a couple who loved each other so much, and they were so excited about their baby.

I’ve always thought that a big part of what makes my job so special is being able to capture the special moment of a photo. It’s about living in the second, in embracing the emotions running so high through the photoshoot. Kristina and Ryan are people who really can’t wait to meet their baby. Everything that they shared with me in our time together, convinced me that these two people had a long and happy life together. 

Their love and affection for one another was obvious. You could see the tender affections of lovers, of two people who had shared something so intimate, and come away from it with a permanent gift. Their joy and adulation at the prospect of becoming parents came across in every photo I took. But perhaps the most sentimental moments, the ones that really captured the essence of love, were the moments that they weren’t focusing on the camera.
